Rental Insurance
Naples Boat Rental
Your safety and peace of mind matter to us. Our goal is to give every guest a safe, relaxing and carefree day on the beautiful waters of Naples and Southwest Florida.
Do I have to buy insurance to rent a pontoon?
No, insurance is not required to rent a pontoon boat from Naples Boat Rental. We do, however, strongly recommend optional rental insurance for extra protection and peace of mind while you are out on the water.
Why do we recommend it?
A day on the water is meant to be easy and fun, but the unexpected can still happen. Optional rental insurance may help protect you from financial responsibility for:
- Accidental damage to the boat
- Minor collisions or docking mishaps
- Unintended damage to property
- Certain liability-related costs
With insurance in place, you can relax and enjoy your trip with more confidence and less financial risk.
What does the insurance cover?
Coverage can vary based on the option you choose at checkout. In general, rental insurance may cover:
- Physical damage to the rental boat
- Certain liability claims resulting from accidental incidents
The exact coverage terms, limits and exclusions are explained clearly at the time of purchase.
What if I choose not to buy insurance?
Without rental insurance, the renter is fully responsible for any damage, loss or liability that occurs during the rental period, as outlined in the rental agreement.
How do I add rental insurance?
You can add optional rental insurance while booking or before you depart. We are glad to walk you through the options and answer any questions before you head out.
Please Note
Rental insurance is not a substitute for safe boating. Every renter is expected to:
- Follow all Florida boating laws and regulations
- Operate the boat responsibly
- Follow every instruction given during the safety briefing
Not following safety guidelines or laws may void your coverage.
